Saint Saviour's Center is a community
outreach ministry that addresses largely unmet needs for low-income residents in Raleigh and Wake County by easing burdens,
such as aging, hunger, poverty and homelessness.
The Center is a hub for programs
that assist more than 10,000 Wake County residents each year. Our programs serve families and seniors who have an income, yet struggle to make ends meet. In addition, we partner with 20 service agencies in Wake County
to assist families in crisis or transition. Services at Saint Saviour's Center include:
The Diaper Train
Wake County's first diaper bank
Diapers, baby wipes and children's books for families who cannot afford them. Volunteers distribute
donated diapers to families referred by crisis centers and to local non-profits that assist people in crisis or
Healthy Living for Seniors
A whole-person approach to healthy aging
This program serves older adults who live in public housing. Volunteers help seniors stay
active and remain independent through classes, activities, counseling and encouragement. More...

Sharing space for greater impact
Groups that provide food, education and spiritual nurture are located at Saint Saviour's
Center. Called resident programs, these groups expand the Center's ability to help people across Wake County from a
Meals on Wheels Congregate dining site where senior citizens receive a healthy lunch and fellowship, weekdays.
Wake Relief Emergency groceries
for those facing crises such as illness, loss of employment and financial hardship.
Community Music School Music
education for children whose parents cannot afford lessons.
Haitian Evangelical Community Church Sunday services and Tuesday evening prayer meetings for Haitian Americans in their native language.
