A diaper bank for Wake County families

Across the U.S., one in three families struggle to provide diapers for their babies. The Diaper Train began in Nov. 2010 to address this need in Wake County.  Community groups, churches, schools and businesses collect diapers through diaper drives.  The Diaper Train then distributes the diapers in two ways:

  1. Volunteers deliver to local non-profit organizations (partner agencies) that serve families in crisis or transition.
  2. Families with a referral from an approved referring agency may come to Saint Saviour's Center on Tuesday or Thursday between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon to receive diapers.  Referrals are required, and families must reside in Wake County, NC.

The Diaper Train is a program of Saint Saviour's Center and a Community Partner with Diaper Bank of North Carolina.  The program is growing so fast, we gave it its own website!  To learn more, visit www.diapertrain.org.
